Lahore, Feb 24(TNS): An impressive passing out parade of Rangers Anti-Terrorist Commandos was held at Rakh Tera field in Lahore.
Crops Commander Lahore Lt-Gen Aamer Riaz, who was the chief guest, addressing the parade congratulated the recruits for demonstrating an excellent standard of drill movements. He said that the credit goes to trainers who within a short span of time trained the recruits.
He also felicitated the parents of the recruits for joining Rangers and acquiring military training to defend the motherland.
Referring to the ongoing war against terror, he said that “The internal and external challenges facing Pakistan today are daunting and complex. I, therefore, urge all of you to keep yourself abreast of emerging technologies, new age weapons and concepts of technology-driven warfare, after joining your units”. He awarded prizes to the high achievers during the course.
