PML-N’s backed candidate defeated PTI in PP-30 by-polls
Sargodha, March 4 (TNS): In another triumph, the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-N’s supported candidate on Sunday beat rival PTI in PP-30 Sargodha by-election.
Yasir Zafar Sindhu defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Sajid Mehmood by over 24,000 votes.
Unconfirmed and unofficial results shows that from all 137 polling stations, PML-N backed candidate gained 52,038 votes while Mehmood bagged 27,619 votes.
According to Election Commission of Pakistan, amid heavy security the polling was started Sunday morning which concluded at 5pm in the evening.
