MULTAN, May 10 (TNS): Punjab food Authority (PFA) sealed five points including three ice factories in South Punjab on unhygienic condition, use of unhealthy ingredients in edibles.
In a statement issued here Wednesday, Director Operations South Punjab Muhammad Saeed Leghari said that the authority closed three ice factories for using rotten blocks, one filtration plant over non availability of water tests and a bakery for using artificial flavor.
In addition to 288 rotten eggs, 255 liters expired drinks and 21 kilogram sweating material and others were also discarded on the spot.
