LAKKI MARWAT, July 17 (TNS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lakki Marwat, Kabir Afridi and DPO Asif Gohar attended a meeting at DPO office here to review arrangements for the peaceful holding of general election and abidance of the code of conduct prescribed by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The DC stressed upon the election candidates to obtain No Objection Certificate (NOC) for big public gatherings well before three days for in placement of proper security measures at the venue.
He directed for issuing copies of the code of conduct to the candidates and strictly following the same as directed by the ECP.
He said if any candidate required information or having any problem, he could contact the Election Control Room established at district level.
