LAHORE, Sept. 5 (TNS): Controversial actor Meera, on Wednesday, slammed the authorities for arresting Ali Saleem, aka Begum Nawazish Ali over alleged possession of liquor.

Karachi police have arrested Ali, for possessing liquor and allegedly indulging in suspicious activities.
“Ali Saleem is an innocent man,” the Nazar actor said in an interview with local media.
“I believe he wasn’t involved in any illegal activity.”
Meera, who was present at the time when officers, dressed as civilians, raided the bungalow, revealed there were others present in the bungalow where they were shooting for a film.
