RAWALPINDI July 16 (TNS): In a targeted attack by unidentified assailants within the limits of the Airport police jurisdiction, a policeman was shot dead.
The martyred policeman, identified as Constable Mohammad Siddiq, was returning to his quarter after his duty when unidentified attackers opened fire, police officials said.
They informed the constable received seven bullet wounds and died on the spot. His body was transported to a hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was a native of Shakargarh, Punjab.
