Jeddah April 1 (TNS): The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the brutal massacre of Palestinian protester, who were marching peacefully to fulfill their demands, by the Israeli occupation forces, says press release issued by the body Headoffice here on Sunday.
OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, in a statement, condemned the Israeli aggression by saying that the occupying force, are solely responsible for the scale and gravity of its ongoing aggression and war crimes against the Palestinian people.
He urged that UN Security Council should intervene immediately to stop Israeli continuing assault, ensure international protection for the Palestinian people, and pressure Israel to observe its commitments and to comply with humanitarian law and internationally recognized resolutions.
The Secretary General stressed the need for engagement on part of the international community to promote a political process conducive to a two-state peaceful solution.
