Ali, Meesha war of words turns into a legal battle

Lahore, April 24 (TNS): Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi’s war of words and allegations turned into a legal battle as Rock-star singer sent legal notice to Aya Lariye singer.

Through notice, Ali sought an apology from Shafi, which, if not provided, will result in “damages to the tune of at least Rs100 million” under Defamation Ordinance.

Ali denied all claims of inappropriate conduct and stated that Meesha’s accusations are “baseless.”

According to notice, if she does not issue an apology within two weeks time, Ali will file a defamation suit against her.

Meesha also took to twitter to announce her legal team which will handle the case.

Meesha said she has hired Muhammad Ahmad Pansota and Nighat Dad as her legal counsels for the case.
