DGMO warns India, protests deliberate targeting of Army vehicle


Rawalpindi July 17 (TNS): The Director General Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan Army strongly protested the deliberate action of targeting of a Pakistan Army vehicle by Indian troops with his Indian counterpart, ISPR says.

As four Pakistani soldiers were martyred in an unprovoked Indian firing along the LoC, Pakistan and Indian Director General Military Operations (DGMO) made hotline contact on Monday.

“Pakistan expressed concerns over the martyrdom of soldiers. The Pakistan Army has right to respond to Indian attacks”, he said.

On Sunday the Indian forces targeted the Pakistan army vehicles near Neelum River at Athmuqam area of LoC resulting the vehicle fell into river and 4 soldiers were drowned.
