ECC approves six technical supplementary grants for different projects


Islamabad: April 08, 2020 (TNS): Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved six technical supplementary grants for different projects.

The approval was granted at its meeting in Islamabad today (Wednesday) with Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh in the chair.

The ECC approved 842 million rupees for paying off the Executing Agencies of the Prime Minister’s youth loan scheme during the current financial year. Approval of 90.459 million rupees was also accorded for Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority, to help authority meet its obligations.

The Committee also gave approval of 1.5 million dollars for the Ministry of Energy to pay the legal counsels hired on behalf of the State in the international litigation case against Karkey while 300 million rupees in favour of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to execute the communication campaign for the Ehsaas Program in the next three months.

ECC further approved 50 billion rupees as technical supplementary grant for the Utility Stores Corporation announced under PM relief package.
