Imran Khan calls for need for upholding merit in all sectors

Islamabad, Aug. 8 (TNS): PTI Chief Imran Khan has stressed the need for upholding merit in all sectors.

Addressing newly elected members from Punjab in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said we will have to adhere to the principle of merit as was done in the state of Madina by the Holy Prophet [PBUH].

Imran Khan said the real changes in Punjab and we have to fight for people’s rights. He said the ticket awarding process will be further improved. He said work should be started immediately in the sectors, where we are weak.

Earlier, a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Punjab parliamentary party held in Islamabad.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan chaired the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the PTI’s newly elected members of Punjab Assembly.

The parliamentary party meeting discussed government formation in the province.
