Mainly hot and dry weather expected in most parts of the country


Islamabad, June 06, 2020 (TNS): Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain- wind-thunderstorm is expected in Punjab including Photohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during evening/night hours.

Meanwhile, dust-thunderstorm with rain at few places is also expected in districts of Sindh.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad twenty-three degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar twenty-five, Karachi thirty, Quetta twenty-one, Gilgit sixteen, Murree fourteen, Muzaffarabad eighteen.

According to met office the weather in most parts of the occupied Kashmir is expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of rain and thunder storm.

Temperature recorded this morning in Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula was fifteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-five, Leh five, Anantnag and Shopian fourteen degree centigrade.
