Islamabad June 19 (TNS): Opponents have accused PTI chief Imran Khan of escaping courts and other institutions of accountability saying he gets time to visit picnic resorts but doesn’t care about notices and summons.

When the Election Commission of Pakistan took up the foreign funding case of PTI, the counsel for Khan sought further time to submit the reply.

While talking to reporters outside the ECP, Akbar S Babar, the main petitioner in the PTI foreign funding case, said that the election commission was being summoned by the poll body but he was consistently dodging it. “Imran Khan gets time to visit Nathia Gali. “He gets time to visit Karachi and other places for election campaigns but he doesn’t have time to appear before the election commission. This shows his scant respect for national institutions,” Babar said vowing to expose the real face of Khan. Babar also advised the PTI workers to expose the crooks in the party.

Meanwhile, PML-N leader Danial Aziz, who also appeared before the ECP, while talking to reporters, said that the PTI chief has been declared a proclaimed offender by a court and he was wanted to the election commission.

He said that they respect national institutions and have submitted by presenting themselves before the courts. “Imran Khan is continuously escaping accountability but will bring him to justice,” Aziz said.
