PM asks supporters not to flood JIT HQs on Thursday


Islamabad, June 13 (TNS): Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Asif Kirmani says Prime Minister has asked party workers not to come at Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad on eve of Nawaz Sharif’s appearance before Joint Investigation Team probing Panama Papers on Thursday.

The move comes on a day when Imran Khan expressed his fears that PML-N workers to create disturbance during historic occasion when an elected Prime Minister to be appeared for probe.

“Reports coming in that PMLN has readied its Gullus to have show of physical strength on Thursday when NS goes before JIT. Will not allow it,” Imran Khan stated on Twitter today.

Asif Kirmani said Prime Minister has thanked workers for their love, affection for him and termed party workers as great asset.

Reportedly, tight security arrangements are to be ensured for Prime Minister’s visit to the JIT headquarters on June 15.

Boundary walls of the Federal Judicial Academy are being uplifted on emergency basis while barbed wires are to be installed ahead of the visit.
