Lahore, May 16 (TNS): Punjab government has decided the strict monitoring of development schemes including the DG Khan Development Package and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has given the task to the CM’s Inspection Team. He has issued instructions that CMIT will make strict monitoring of development projects as well as the DG Khan Development Package and a weekly report will be submitted to the Chief Minister for making further steps. The Chief Minister has said that no compromise will be made on the quality of development schemes of public importance and high standard will be ensured. CMIT has been given the responsibility of monitoring of correct utilization of national resources, he said. The public money will be spent on the welfare of the people and no one will be allowed to waste government resources. Correct utilization of funds will be ensured and I will personally monitor the progress made on DG Khan Development Package as well as other welfare schemes of the province, the Chief Minister concluded.
Moreover Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken immediate notice of a news item aired at the media with regard to blast in a private bank in Sadiqabad and sought a report from RPO Bahawalpur. He has directed to investigate the incident adding that report be submitted to the CM Office within 24 hours after identification of causes of the incident. The Chief Minister has also directed to provide best treatment facilities to the injured.
