Punjab govt focusing to generate electricity from alternative sources: Shahbaz

Lahore June 22 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said that the Punjab government is focusing on energy sector especially to generate electricity from alternative sources.

He was talking to a US delegation led by former US Ambassador Teresita C Schaffer, who called on him in Lahore.

The US delegation showed keen interest to invest in the energy sector in Pakistan especially in the solar sector.

The CM said that 400 megawatts electricity has already been added to the national grid from the Bahawalpur Solar Park.

The former US Ambassador expressed the desire to continue  work with Punjab government in the future.

  1. I do like the manner in which you have presented this problem and it does offer us some fodder for thought. Nonetheless, from just what I have observed, I basically wish when the actual feedback pack on that men and women keep on issue and don’t get started upon a soap box involving the news of the day. Yet, thank you for this exceptional point and while I can not necessarily concur with it in totality, I regard your perspective.
