Peshawar, Sept 28 (TNS): Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that peace in Afghanistan is required for establishing durable peace in the region.
He was talking to students and faculty members of different universities of Balochistan at CM House on Thursday.
Khatak said that international forces have to set aside their political motives to find a permanent solution for the Afghan conflict.
He said that the soil of Afghanistan was used by international forces for their own gains and afterwards Afghanistan was left in the lurch, adding that these foreign elements should stop funding extremists and terrorist organisations.
He said that the government of KP fulfilling its part of responsibility under the National Action Plan that was also been recognised at the national level.
The chief minister appreciated inter-provincial-study-tours and said that it would give a unique opportunity of learning from experiences, maintaining that government has pinned hopes in youth for ensuring better future of the country.
